Turtle Moxa Device

Description

Device is made from a heat resistant ceramic alloy consisting of Elvan and Germanium. This material is synthesized to aid in the emission of far infrared radiation for maximum effectiveness of moxibustion treatments. The large-sized device is ideal for treating areas such as the back and stomach, whereas the smaller-sized device works well on smaller, concentrated areas of discomfort and can even fit on the palm of your hand. Devices are designed with a round cover and heat-supporting floor to minimize heat loss and maximize burn prevention. Each device comes with safety bands that fit securely over the device to prevent the cover from falling off. *NOTE: Moxa device and moxa should be administered and used under the direction or supervision of a qualified practitioner. Never leave patient unattended during moxa use. Cover skin with thin fabric or clothing. Do not use on bare skin. Do not use on the face, soft skin, or other sensitive body parts. Do not use on pregnant women or patients who are unable to detect the sensations of heat or pain. If used incorrectly, redness or heat blisters may appear after application. Do not leave in one place for an extended period of time. If heat becomes uncomfortable, remove immediately. Burning moxa produces smoke, so do not perform treatments in a confined area. Please use in a well-ventilated area. Keep moxa device out of reach of children. DO NOT fall asleep during moxibustion to prevent possible burns or fires. Upon completely extinguishing the moxa, dispose of remaining ash in a non-flammable area. Be cautious when touching the moxa device. Moxa device is extremely hot and can cause burns. Please use handles. Be cautious of possible burns or fires that may occur while using. Handle with extreme care.
